Adam Callander born 11th Feb.1804, Falkirk. Christened 16th Feb, his parents were John Callander and Agnes Smith.
Elizabeth Brown Born 15th Feb. 1804, at Balfron, Stirlingshire. Her parents were John Brown and Janet Ure,
Adam and Elizabeth were married on 31st Oct. 1829 at Balfron, their issue we have traced are.

John 13th Nov 1831
Alexander 17th March 1833
Janet 22nd Feb 1835
Adam 4th Feb 1838
Finlay 16th Aug 1841
Agnes Smith 19th July 1844

Thanks Marhar,
There are two younger children as well as the ones you have found. They are Michael Callander (b) 18th October 1846, and my grandfather William Finlay Callander (b) 2nd February 1849. We think they may have been born in Falkirk, but I cannot find anything to show his place of birth. I wonder if someone, somewhere has the answer. It is a real mystery. Why would all the rest of the family be recorded and not these last two children?
