I didn't relize there was a genealogy board......sorry Marhar I guess I should have posted here instead of clans under "where have all the celts gone" (at least I think that was the thread title)
Looking for BARCLAY, ROBERT a weaver married SUZANNA THOMSON on June23rd 1839 at Barony. They had only one son registered, although I know of 2 others, James was registered as born on June 4th 1857 at Calton, Glasgow. I find it unlikely that this was their first-born after 18 years of marraige. The other 2 sons I know of were Robert and John.
Anyone out there know of any Barclays still in and around the Glasgow area?
Any help would be appreciated.
