Hi,
My name is Henderson and I would like o trace my ancestors.

My dad and his brothers and sisters stayed in Inverkeithing with their parents John (born 1919) and Margaret (born 1920) Henderson.

Hey Claire.
Are you an American because if you are, there is a lot on the clan Henderson society. The Henderson's are the fastest growing clan in North America and Canada. I am involved a lot with the clan in my neck of the woods because it just started to pick up.

Helloo-ya! My name is Bari and I am a Henderson, but I am an American. It has been a while since I've done any geneology work (new mom) but you might try to check out Clann McGunn, that is a reference that I once got a few years ago as far as family name prior to becoming Henderson. Don't know if that helps ya,but there you have it!! Be Well- Bari

Henderson
You must start with your Parents marriage certificate, on that you will find both their parents names ( your Grandparents) then you find your grandparents marriage certificates and keep going back in that manner. There is no easy way of doing it . You will have to consult the records at the New Register House, Edinburgh. EH1 3YT

If you type in New Register House you can access their website
