Name MacRosse

Hello all,
I am new to the boards and (of course) am in need of some help!
I am a history student and I came across this name "MacRosse" in a history of Ireland book, in a discussion of the history the O'Mores.
Any idea of its origin? It is Scottish, no? I can't find a connection anywhere, but then again, I am no expert.

I've never heard of this name in modern Scotland.
