Cool campbells of thurso, caithness, scotland

i am searching for grave information on ancestorial kin. Alexander Allen campbell was born in Canada 1858, he was the son of Kenneth Campbell and Isabella Dingwall who was born im told in Thruso Scotland in the 1700's. would like to know the father and mother of this kenneth campbell it appears that most of the family came from Caithness and Ross-Cromarty but no facts as of yet any one have anything on this?

These are all really common names, but Campbell is not a surname I would connect with Caithness.
