Jean Robertson of Kirkcaldy

I have a Dutch friend, an elderly man who in the 1940’s had a penfriend by the name of Jean Robertson from Kirkaldy in Scotland.
They remained very good friends for many years. Sadly, in 1965 he received a letter from Jean’s sister telling him that his friend of many years had passed away. Jean’s sister was named Elizabeth Welch (nee Robertson) & she used to live in England for a while before going back to Scotland where she settled to live in Glenrothes, Fife.
Sjoerd (my Dutch friend) would love to make contact with the family again after all of these years. If anyone can help please I would be most grateful.
