Max age of fathering a child ?

This is Scotland and Genealogical related as far out as it seems. But what is the maximum age a man can father a child at ?

You see I have come across, in my genealogical research, a man who, fathered a child at the age of 66! The father being born in 1716 and his son being born in 1782! and there were even two more children born after that. So what is the maximum possible fathering age ?

Probably it is not a problem of father's age since mother is relatively youngand able to deliver (and wants to sleep with this old grumpy fella

66 is comparatively young. Men keep producing sperm all their life and there was an Indian man in the papers not long ago who fathered a child when he was in his nineties. The only question is whether an elderly man is physically able to have sex but if so he would probably still be able to father a child.

You mean get up ? for breakfast ?

I've been reading about some old boy in Assam, reputedly 120 years old, who has just got married to a lady a fraction of his age. I wonder what they put in his tea ?
