Wilhelmina Clinkscales, born abt 1838 in Edinburgh. Married Thomas Allan in Launceston Tasmania Australia in 1860 and died in Auckland N.Z. in 1922.
Father was William Clinkscales, Master Mariner who married Annie Bailey.
Wilhelmina sailed to Tasmania on the ship the Brooomielaw in 1859 as a domestic servant.
Thomas Allan was born in Stirling abt 1835. Do not know who his parents are or anything about him until his marriage in 1860.
Looking for any information about the Clinkscales/Allan family.

Marvelous name Wilhelmina Clinkscales, Black gives the origin of the name as Coldingham. wullie.

Since I lasted posted this I have found that I had incorrect info on Thomas.
The correct details are;
Thomas Allan born 27 April 1934 at Falkirk, Stirlingshire, Scotland.
He died in Auckland on 21 March 1926 and is buried in th Waikarake Cemetery with Wilhelmina.
Wilhelmina died on 2 October 1923.
I visited thier grave and took photo's of it.
