Speaking of italians brought back memories of ww2.When I was a lad i was a drummer in the 79th royal scots pipe band and we were shipped up to the TA camp on Barry Buddon near Dundee. The nice thing was allthe kitchen staff were Italian prisoners of war from The north African campaigns. We lived like kings they were great cooks.fond memories. We beat retreat twice there once in Dundee at some ceremony I can't recall what it was and once in Carnoustie which was also an Army something or another.I'm not sure If I spelled Buddon right but am shair the heedmaister wull gee me the dickens onyway

At 81 you deserve a wee bit civility - and that can sometimes be in short supply on here... so keep lurking!
