BUCHANAN John Robert c1801 Loch Lomond

John Robert born to George and Elizabeth Jane Buchanan nee Stewart. John came out to Australia c1852. He may have left from England as I am trying to confirm his parents as those listed in the 1851 and '61 Cheltenham Censuses. There is a John R listed aged 9 with parents George and Elizabeth but so far I have nothing confirmed and would dearly love to trace his lineage. He was my G Grandfather. I am doing OK with descendents of John Robert but dont know anything about his parents or siblings. So all you Buchanan researchers can you help at all?
