Anybody know anything?

Does anybody know anything about the Noble Family. My g-grandmother's paternal grandparents were Margaret Donald and John Noble Sr. from Aberdeen.

And does anyone know of any Duncan's living in New Macher? (and near there) My g-grandmother has cousins there that she would like to reconnect with, she named one, James Duncan.

Her aunt was still living in New Macher and communicating every so often with my grandmother in the 70's, her postage address back then was,

Mrs. N. Duncan
West Manse,
New Macher,
Scotland

Her husband's name was Nathan.

If anyone has any info please contact me ASAP.

Ryan, there isn't a Clan Noble... however Noble is named as one of the septs of Clan MacKintosh. The surname Noble first appeared in Scotland in the East Lothian area around the end of the 12th century; the name first appeared as Nobilis!

Thanks Babz, I'll run those names by my great-grandmother to see if they sound about right and maybe try to dig up some more info.

Thanks for the help!
