Janet Wilson (1860-1921) of Cumbernauld?

This is really a stab in the dark here, but am trying to find out more information on Janet Wilson. She was born 20 April 1860 in Cumbernauld, Dunbartonshire. (I'm sorry if I have the location written wrong...this is the information I have.) She migrated to Kansas, USA and passed away 19 November 1929 in Macksville, Kansas, USA.

I'm doing my family's genealogy and hit a dead-end with her. I don't have the names of her parents or any other family. She was my great-great grandmother.

Try the GRO, Edinburgh website. All births, deaths and marriages in Scotland are registered there, including many old Parish Records from earlier days.
