Middle names in Scotland traditionally reflect the surnames of one of the grandparents - if you have her parent's names (presumably if you have the birth certificate then you should have them) then the birth certificate will give the date and place of her parents marriage. Get a copy of that particular certificate and the grandparents names will be on it (and an indication of whether they were alive at the time of not).

Just as an adjunct, the name may also refer to a great-grandparent! That has happened at least once to my knowledge within my own family tree, and helped quite a bit when ascertaining exactly which of three brothers my line descended from.
