Thanks again ...I have been very sceptical in all areas of tracing the family back. The one I referred to had done his homework .... here in the US and over in Scotland....having access to family bibles and such. There is also a book written by a scotsman named John Stewart (I believe that's his name) written about the Rev. John Livingston. I don't know how many books were actually published, but I have read bits off his website. VERY interesting, for me anyway.
