I will be travelling to Scotlan d from Canada in a few month to sight-see and also to do some research on my Rowat and Stirling ancestors around Kirkintilloch and Kilsyth. My questions are:
1) Assuming that I am staying in Glasgow, is it practical to go bt train or bus to both of these towns in one day at flexible times? 2) What are some of the genealogical resources available in Kirkintilloch to find info on residents from the 17th aqnd 18th centuries? 3) Anybodie with Rowat and Stirling info?
