I am in search of any information on St. Marks Catholic school in Alexandria, Scotland. Would there be a web site for this school. I am not sure if this school is open at the present.

You might get more info if you re-post your request in the Forum further down the opening page which helps you find lost friends! There may be more west-coast Scots looking at that forum than this one on genealogy!

However, I did a quick search (I don't live in Dumbartonshire) and came up with the following website

No St Mark's school is mentioned, so you may be right about it being closed.

Have you tried the http://www.friendsreunited.co.uk site? Even if a school has closed down, former pupils often list the school on that site.

Thank you so kindley for the information. I just wanted you to know that this is the school that my grandfather went to in the 188? or 189?. I was just searching for information about the school. I cannot seem to find anything about it. so I thought that I would post a message.
