Hello all. does anyone know if there was a minimum age requirement for a witness on a Scottish marriage registration in 1909?
Thanks,

Sorry, possom, not too sure - wasn't around in 1909...
BUT, as Scots could marry at 16, maybe that might be the age of witnesses, too?
Try the GRO site, they may have information on there.
