Davidson....
Traced Davidson side of my family back to the mid 1700's,James Davidson married Janet Nicol,Innerleithan, Peebleshire area, haven't been able to find where he came from or if he was from that area. Haven't found any Dawson connection.

I have traced my Davidson ancestors back to William Davidson born about 1656 in Fife. But I haven't seen any Dawson connection in my tree either. I only have fourteen Davidson's in my tree though. Anyway, good luck in your search!
