I am interested in getting a copy of an old obituary that would have been printed in a Dundee newspaper in 1943.
it was for my Uncle,Charles Smith Cook that was lost in WWII and is a member of the Dundee Roll of Honour.
The obit would be for Charles Smith Cook who died November 27, 1943.
If there is anyone out there that could email or post me a copy I would be ever so grateful. Thank you.
Tricia Cook-Bosnell, 59 Charles street, Port Hope, Ontario, Canada L1A 1S6

Not much chance of physically getting hold of it as I'm not in Dundee at present, but you could try the Dundee Courier - http://www.thecourier.co.uk/ - try e-mailing them as they can be pretty helpful. If they can't actually find it for you then they'll generally stick a notice in the paper somewhere outlining your request.
