Ive done a lot of searching on the net for my ancestors over the past year or two ! I actually received an e-mail from a 4th cousin on this very web site. That was a great boost. It feels great to build a picture, and fill in the blanks, however, there will always be questions left unanswered.

I did find the LDS web-site to be the best, however, almost everytime I searched, I came up with something new, different or very confusing. I have taken the plunge and actually written to someone I suspect of being a very distant relative now living in Austrailia.

It is very exciting and nerve wracking to actually pluck up the courage. But highly recommended. You never know what to expect.

Best of luck York Scot.

Regards

Irish Una

(ps. Im not related to IrishScot!!)

Regards

Una
