As an avid researcher into the history of my "families" I have found the use of the internet/computer to be a god send BUT please remember to save your info to disk or print it up. I've recently lost all my data and rather stupidly had very few hard copies. PC programs are wonderful but only work if your pc does!!!!!
One family alone went back to 1400 and I lost it all!!! Just thought I'd share a bit of advice... EJ |

or if you can't convince yourself to do that backup to a CD or a webbased service like Rootsweb or Gencircles.
a backup of some kind either hard copy or other is absolutely crucial
