Question

Good day

I am looking for information on the Goudie family. My Great-Grandparents all came from Scotland. I have tried to do research the family, but every time I get to Scotland I seem to run into to wall.
All help will be appreciated.

First things first where oh where in Scotland.
We need a county preferably a parish at the minimum to start with and some dates - prior to 1855 or after 1855?
