I was moaning, and groaning w/ disappointment, after not being able to find Scottish links to my heritage, but, turns out, I just wasn't looking in the right places, or talking to the right people.

Cause, after a little research, I found out I've got Scots ancestors on BOTH parents sides of my family!

So, I've gone from huge frown to BIG, BIG SMILE!!!!!

I'm SCOTTISH!!!!!

Big hugs all 'round!

The "Who's" would be the Phillips, the Davis, and the Ringo bunch. The Ringos weren't the most "upstanding" of citizens here in the US. But, the Davis and Phillips bunch did pretty good.

Either way, I didn't really care so much about what they did .... I was interested in where they came from.

So ... works for me! :-)

yeah well with a surname like "Ringo" surely not a Scots name?? who would be "upstanding"??
