I am not a man of inconsideration, one day I may meet a True Campbell that is worthy of trust, of the True Campbells I know all are traitors.(The use of the word "true" is to differentiate from those(Indians) which have adopted the name and are good people). Gordon Campbell is the Premier of British Columbia and he is busily makes his friends and supporters wealthy at the cost of the people(sound familiar?).
I will repeat again if I meet a True Campbell who is not a traitor I will gladly shake his hand.

Polwarth, I dinna ken how my being an 11th gen Canuck would make me a scab, or how it would explain my distrust of Campbells. The place I live is very much like the North of Scotland, come for a visit 56 degrees Lat. North.

I fail to see how being an 11th generation Canadian should discredit my view of Campbells, Scots have in the past been one of the most literate people, has that changed? Enlighten me.

Mr Forsyth - I did not call you a Scab - I was addressing my remark to my friend, Scabby Douglas, who is affectionately known as'Scabs'... OK?

I'm sorry, but you are talking absolute tosh about the Campbells. Get yourself educated in Scots history before you start bandying remarks about untrustworthy Campbells.

Someone who boasts that their tie is 11 generations away from Scotland should not come onto a Scottish history/clan board and start spouting old wives' tales about the 'nasty' Campbells.

Just kidding! Well, how I wish! I know Scots have a very rich culture and what amazes me is that they can keep their old heritage by infusing it in today's modern world...for example, they still use old trains...

And I like the bagpipes, too...
