I keep chipping away at the gaps bit by bit. Tonight i've been trying to find info on my Lord ancestors from Stackpole, Pembroke Co. Wales... Hari Lord b. ca. 1586, and tonight i found his wife's first name: Ann ! That far back i consider it a success!

Hari Lord's grandson Nathan Lord emmigrated to Maine some time before 1655 ! That makes him a very early european settler of America. Not only that but i used to live not TWO miles away!!! And i never knew! Bizarre, or what? One of the things i came across referred to a document at the Kittery Library. I used to have a Kittery Library card! ...and if you saw the library...! It's this little moth eaten 2 room place, it's TINY!

I get all tingly when coincidences like this happen. It's very strange that i have travelled so little and yet the places i have gone to i find out AFTER had been significant to my ancestors.
