I am 17 and live in Canada. My grand-mother came here when she was guite young. Her family name is Stark and also Smillie. I reall want to find family. I am interested in finding out my history, but I am not sure how! HELP!!

Fares between Britain and Germany have been cut to £1 or less as a new no-frills airline and Ryanair try to win customers by outdoing each other on price. Germanwings began selling tickets between London's Stansted airport and Cologne for £1 ($1.64), including all the taxes, on Wednesday morning.

But as soon as Ryanair heard about the fares it promptly cut the price of its own tickets between Stansted and Frankfurt Hahn to just 50 pence.

The airlines will actually lose money on each seat they sell because they are bearing the cost of the taxes themselves rather than charging passengers............

Methinks I should pack up my bag and go! ( But my cat might just think otherwise) (Spoilsport! Boo! )

I take it your family is from Scotland.The more information you have on your grandmother , the better.For example,her birthdate and birth place.Her siblings names and parents names.Once you know these,there are many sites online to find them. rootsweb...LDS...ancestry.com...etc.Good luck in your search

My father's name was Norman Matthew Smillie, his brother was Colin Smillie, their father was Richard Smillie. All from Canada. IDK anything about them or their family. I didn't know that there was very many people with that surname, especially in Canada!
