Sinclair clan connection?

Please can someone help me with some early 1100's family connection between Sinclair and Botha as it is now known.Also could the name came from Macbeathe.

Have you checked with the Clan Sinclair geneaologist Neville Sinclair?

You might also try posting this at http://www.Caithness.org in their geneaology section. On this site in the family history section there are links to the Sinclairs Society as well as the the Family History Society in Caithness.

Probably your best bet for contacting someone who might be researching the same links if there is a connection with Sinclairs.
