I am looking for information on my great grandfather, William Sim Smith his family and anything or anyone connected to him.
He and his family left Renfrew Scotland in 1906 for the USA. He was born in 1899. His father was William Hunter Smith. His mother was Jeanne Sim Smith b.1864. Sim was her maiden name. And Sommerville was her mothers maiden name. He had two sisters Jeanne and Marion and a brother Samual.
Thanks to anyone who can point me in the right direction.

Have you checked the Ellis island site? You can do a search just with his name.

Other sites you can check are listed in you other thread.

William Sim Smith's father, William (Hunter) Smith was my great grandmother's brother. She was Elizabeth Beveridge Smith. I would like to hear from Iarmie or anyone else related.

The Thread

Yes I am aware of it. Sometimes people re-visit an old post. Nothing wrong with responding and putting it out there for whomever finds it. Does this post have any other interest for you?
