You coming up for a holiday then. Where about are you intending to visit????? God I'm nosey
You will have to go to Health Food shops for the Haggis.
It is quite nice but I wouldn't bend over backwards to find it. Not the best vegi alternative I've found.

End of April will find me in Inverness and Aberdeen, might also go to
Glasgow area for a few days !!
Back to Aberdeen hopefully in August !!

So I will be visiting health food shops while there to bring some
back!!

I also want to buy some vegetarian White Pudding so I hope someone
knows where I can find that !!

White pudding...... now there is something I miss from my meat eating days. I've never found it but then it is quite easy to make I'm sure. Just replace the suet and Bob's your Uncle, vegi white pudding.

what's white pudding?

The people I know think haggis is sick only because they haven't tried it yet. All they know is that it is the sheep guts, stuff people don't usually eat. Being curious and wanting to experience all of Scotland, I dared to try it at a nice little restaurant (Royal Macgregors) and found it surprisingly good. The waitress said the sheep guts was the traditonal haggis, people don't serve that anymore, and the modern version is simply minced lamb.

white pudding

White pudding is made from:

Oatmeal
Onion
Seasoning
Suet

You chop the onions up and add to the other ingredients and fill pudding skins.

Then you cook in boiling water for a couple of hours.

Another way to use this mixture is to make Skirlie which you do so by
putting all of the ingredients into a frying pan and fry gently for
a few minutes.

Both ways are good !!
