What would be the ideal starter, main course and sweet
for a traditional scots supper?

Thanks you.

I have spoken to a few Scots about this and we have come up with this:

Scotch Broth

Roast Venison with - Roast Potatoes, Boiled Potatoes, Neep(swede or turnip)
Carrots and Gravy. Could also have few Brussels Sprouts.

Clootie Dumpling with Custard or Cream.

Others may have different ideas on this and hopefully will post for you.

Starter:
Scottish Salmon, Poached in a cream, lemon and dill source.

Main:
Roast Aberdeen Angus with roast totties, stripps of carrot slowly simmered in fresh orange and a wee hint of garlic, Brussels Sprouts and yes, neep. Gravy made with the juces of the Aberdeen Angus. Also home made stuffing.
