6 Trifle Sponge cakes
18 Ratafia Biscuits
Raspberry Jam
1/2 Lemon Rind(grated)
1 Tblsp. Brandy
5 fl.oz Sherry
15 fl.oz Custard
10 fl.oz Cream
Caster Sugar
Drambuie


Cut sponge cakes into two pieces and cover with the jam.

Arrange these in a bowl.

Crumble up the ratafia biscuits and put on the top of the the
sponges.

Sprinkle the lemon rind on top.

Pour the Sherry and Brandy on the top.

Then put the custard on top of thins and leave for at least one hour.

Whip up the cream and add the Drambuie to it also add a little
sugar to sweeten.

Then spread this on top of the custard.

You could sprinkle some more crumbed Ratafia biscuits on the top
for decoration.

What are ratafia biscuits like? I will have to translate them into a USA cookie!

Scottish Trifle

Hi Babz

I'm a native who lives in Australia and I'll
tell you they cant make trifle like ours.
Everyone loves my trifle but thank you for
the EXTRA DELIGHTS E.G.almond biscuits,
lemon rind, drambuie etc. These little
extras will help me to perfect my sweet.
