Here is your bran Scone's Recipe wanted in People Search

1..Cupful Bran
1..Cupful of white plain flour
1..Cupful of Whole wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon of each of the following
cream of Tarter
Baking Soda
Salt

Buttermilk as required

Mix all the dry ingredients together with enough
buttermilk to make a soft dough.
Turn on to a floured board and knead a little
with the hands.
Roll out into rounds, mark each into 4 and bake on a floured tin for 25 to 30 minutes at 425F.

This recipe is from an 1930s cookery book
