hey, what's cooking?

Babz, you should know that we Scots have a sweet tooth, so trying things like tablet, scones, cakes, sweets, puddings will always be a hit!

I have always wondered what a traditional scottish breakfast would consist of?

Sshhh Babz, don't tell anyone I am here!

Gamble, there are a few variations on this, but a typical trad Scottish brekker that you'd get in a caff or whatever would be: eggs with the yolk runny, fried breid, fried tomato, baked beans, and squerr sausage. You might get bacon or black pudding instead, but I would go for the sqwerr sausage myself if offered the choice!

But most people would not really eat this as an everyday breakfast unless you were a workie or something. Toast & marmite will suffice!

Breakfast

Not sure just how many people eat breakfast now-a-days.

I do everyday but not a scottish one.

When we are in Aberdeen we don't have the fry up like T-brox has, we usually have Rowies which are called Morning Rolls in that area. They are delicious and don't ask me to describe them to you as I could not do them justice.

What do you others have for breakfast? doesnt matter which country you are in, it would be good to know.
