I said it would be porridge every morning so you will need the recipe, so here goes.

Put into a pan the following:

For each 1/2 pint of water you will need a handful of medium oatmeal to which you add salt I use
about 1/2 teaspoon(try it with 1/4 first as it may be
too salty for you). Cook slowly for at least 10 minutes until it thickens.

Then serve in a bowl, with a small bowl of milk so as to dunk the porridge and cool it down a little.

You can also boil the water up first before adding the oatmeal this way saves on time.

I also soak my oatmeal and salt in the water overnight I think it tastes better done that way.

Some people add sugar instead but I don't think it's nice that way.

It's good for women who get morning sickness, I know that as I lived on it for three months once.
