Question

We are all familiar with the 'English Breakfast' in the UK....But what - would you say - would be a 'Scottish Breakfast'?

Any suggestions?

Doesn't have to be 'traditional' or conventional...I'm just looking for good ideas.

(I love Irish Potatoe pancakes, for example, is there a Scottish equivalent that could be served during a breakfast?)

Exclamation

Tattie (potato) scones were always a favorite at our house. Square sausages were my favorite. God how I would love square sausage on a freshly baked roll with HP sauce.

Very interesting...So we have Tattie Scones, Eggs, Aberdeen Angus Beef Sausages and...?

...Come on, surely someone knows of some obscure little farm/butchers that produce some uniques 'Scottish' breakfast produce...

For example, I came across a lovely spicey pork and apple sausage the last time I was up in Forfar....

Anyone else got some suggestions?

And aside from porridge, what about Abroath Smokies?

Lets get the menu sorted eh!?
