Milkweed Pods
Stick of butter
Salt
Red Pepper

boil the milkweed in water until the green outer shell pops open. drain the pods in a strainer then take them out of the shell.
heat butter in a frying pan and add red pepper to the butter. add the seed pods and fry until a crispy brown----sprinkle with salt (to one's preference) and enjoy. the more salt and butter you use, the better. make sure you boil them for a long time or they will be bitter tasting.
