Oh, I am glad to know of a good brewery existing in Alloa. I thought all had gone and died. I am glad it isn't so.

Yes, it is true... have a look at: Devon Ales - The Mansefield Arms & Devon Ales Microbrewery

before I was forced to leave Scotland (to be back to Italy) my usual supplier was the Muckhart Inn... still missing those guys teasing the lonely italian boy always willing to share emotions !!

Ooh, I liked the Muckart inn. Yeah! Nice dinner there and nice beer. And lovely friendly staff. My brother lives in Alloa - perhaps I should invite myself there for a visit soon.

Question

I am indeed a lover of certain beers here in the states, and have tried some when I was in England, but never did I try Scottish lager or beer. I live in northern California...might you suggest any of the Scot's stuff, that is sold in the states?
