I've just look at the photo - I think they're baked right enough. Big devils - aren't they ?

I could manage two , maybe three , along with the trimmings I reckon .

Yesterday I came across a small bakery in Oamaru , a town 75 miles up the road where one of my clan chiefs is buried , that makes mutton and plum pies .
Sadly they were sold out

I'll try and leave earlier next time
