Where to buy fresh basil in Ed (below retail)

Hey

Given up on freshly made, bought pesto, since Ed seems to be devoid
of the good stuff and resorting to making my own. Only (and rather
mission critical) thing I'm struggling with, is where to buy big bunches of
fresh basil and not have to pay silly supermarket prices.

Any constructive ideas/suggestions/musings?

Thanks Wullie. I like your enthusiasm, however making a trip to Glasgow
would negate any savings made by buying wholesale, I imagine
