Sorry, but not based in Canada - maybe a Canadian member might see this and reply.
There was a thread a while back regarding meat pies, including if my memory serves, mutton pies (aka as Scotch pies) - here's the thread Scottish Meat Pie recipe? When I make water-crust mutton pies, I just use the base of a glass milk bottle - it works for me!

I have old moulds from an earlier generation - but at a push have used pickle jars....
![]() You 'form' the pie shell in a mould or round a jar, remove the mould or the jar... then fill and then put into the oven.
