And of course, the Mars Bar cuisine must be accompanied by the beverage most appropriate to the occassion. For most meals featuring a Deep Fried Mars Bar, I would suggest a litre bottle of Irn Bru. Of course it must be chilled to the ambient temperature beforehand, perhaps 3 - 4 degrees Celcius. Alternatively, Buckfast may be served, but only at room temperature.

I believe the cocktails of choice amongst certain groups in the West are benylin and cider or bucky and irn bru. (or so I am told!)

Buckfast and Tennent's Lager make a delicious alternative to Polwarth's cocktails - try the following recipe:

Jakey
Consume 1/2 a bottle of buckfast
Top up with Tennent's Lager (Special Brew can be used to make a variation on the recipe)

Serve chilled with a packet of Cheese and Onion crisps.
