Spicy Batterd Haggis Supper

A fine treat on evening out I have found. However what are your favorite batterd food sources on an evening out?

Sorry I am not a very good cook. I tend to get these things from fish n chip shops. Ha Ha

However I do make a rather curious fish dish!! Well I say that its really herring dipped in egg and then coverd with porridge oats then pan fry until crispy. It goes well with potatoes and most veg.

I have to say that the spicy haggis sold in chippers has always puzzled me. After all, haggis is a spiced dish in the first place & I don't think I've seen bland haggi on the menu anywhere, ever?

Yuk Herrrings !!

You will have to try it with oatmeal coating when you get over here !!

Smile fish supper

My favorite battered food would be fish supper at Eyemouth. I like haggis,nipps and tatties not the battered haggis.
