I'm an absolute sucker for a Steak/Steak & Gravy or Mince & Mealie pie from Thains Bakery in Aberdeen's George St. Especially late-night after a few drinks or on the way home from a fishing trip. By the looks of the customers on a weekend, a good bit of the city thinks the same. The 2nd-day rowies at 50p for a bag of 6 are also just lovely!

Mutton pies are mostly rank IMO. Seldom tasted a good one.

Hi pogo...there's a small bakery in one of the side streets in Montrose that

pies...couldn't tell you what they are liek now as I don't eat them any longer !!

My favourite pie has to be Apple Pie....not shop bought but home made !!

As much as I love Bridies, I cannot deny the fact that the Bridie is merely a pasty, and not a pie

When it comes to pies, nothing can beat a Bell's Steak Mince round..........hmmmmmmmm (and no i'm not biased, I am not related to those "Bells", although I did get on well with the MD's daughter when she was doing some active selling in our store a while back).
