They DO still make Tang! I saw some yesterday afternoon when I was at the grocery store! I couldn't believe my eyes! I wasn't even tempted to buy it!

It's an orange powder that you spoon into a glass of water. Supposedly, they made it for the astronauts to take along on their moon missions! It's supposed to be a source of Vitamin C and (easier to carry than an orange?) Seems a dirty trick to me, leave home on a trip of a live time and the only drink choice is *gag* Tang! (Sort of like going to Scotland and the only treat available is a saltine cracker, no shortbread!) And yes, Celyn, if you don't know what Tang is you should count your blessings! eeeuuuugggghhhhhhh!

This will gross you all out, it did me. . . when the Hubby was a boy and his family went camping or hunting or fishing or any outdoor over-night type adventure, his mom would serve up the morning fare: pancakes, powdered milk and (sorry) HOT TANG! she'd make it with hot water and they'd ALL drink it! I knew they were odd but to me this is proof that the in-laws should be locked up!!!!! LOL

oh oh oh!

...by "traditional meat" you mean the highly bred, growth hormone injected, antibiotic and artificially fed domestic meats that come shrink wrapped on pink styrofoam trays?
