wierd foods
what is the wierdest food people here have ever tasted.
mine is octupus (ate it in a japanese restuarant) and domestic cat (ate it in s.korea with my dad, though i didnt know what the meat was until after i finished it) |

hmmm.... Gifilte fish (bland, mushy stuff!), octopus (chewy!), buffalo (good), kangaroo (very chewy!), cactus, shark steaks, goat milk fudge (YUMMY!)
...and i guess most Americans think haggis is weird, but it's much like pate and very good. Marmite.... now THAT was WEIRD!!! I know some of you Brits and Aussies love it, but man!! It must be an acquired taste!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ...and i once made ice cream out of buttermilk, sugar, lime, lime zest and black pepper... it was actually very good. I'd i've had red bean flavored ice cream, too!I also once had South African whiskey with real 24 carat gold flakes in it.... i know why they put the gold in it... it was so nasty it's the only way they could get anyone to drink to the bottom!!!... hahhahahah! I'm sure i'll think of some more things. |
