Favorite Food Websites

My neighbor is going to London next month and i'm going to ask her if she'll bring me back something from Thornton's!!! They are one of my favorite chocolatiers:

They ship to the U.S. too, but the shipping costs more than the chocolates... heee heee. Even so, some desperate nights i was tempted to order!

What are some of your favorite food websites and why?

Here is another of my favorites. If you've never tried Organic coffee, you might want to give it a try. Usually i don't notice much of a difference in taste between organic foods and non organic, but i really notice with coffee! This place also has organic tea and chocolate, and it's all done Equal Exchange:

And this is a tea website... my favorite tea company. They have quite a variety of both traditional teas and herbal teas. Their products are very fresh and the flavors have much more variety than places like say, Celestial Seasonings. My favorite tea from this place is Matte Latte, which is slightly like dessert coffee (but not sweet unless you sweeten it). It's hard to describe the flavor, but i think they might have samples.

This is not actually the *type* of food website you asked for, Holly, but I stumbled across it recently and it looked like great fun, in a lovely "useless, yes interesting triva" sort of way.

Wow, Celyn, what a great website! I've heard some speculation that mead is the oldest alcoholic drink, and predates wine, as it occurs naturally and was probably discovered that way. I don't know if that is true or not. One of the nice things about that website is it lists what and where we have historical records.
