Sorry! What I should have said is it's not hard to find heart & liver, which are the meats you would find necessary. You could also through in some kidney, if you fancied. I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to get those things in New York city! As I said you can substitute a cooking bag for the stomach (bag) - as the haggis really should be boiled.

I have made it from Venison with very good results.

It's very economical when you kill your own deer. Unless you factor in the cost of licences, ammunition, gun, fuel etc. etc. - in which case its probably cheaper to just buy it. However - I keep insisting to my wife that it's "free"
