How about my favourite breakfast of the moment !!

1 tin of tomatoes(chopped)
1/2 teaspoon Oregano
1/2 teaspoon Basil

Put those ingredients into a pan and simmer away until nearly all
the juice is gone.

At same time poach one egg.

Make some toast and spread the tomato mixture on top of the toast and top
with the poached egg !!

If you don't like eggs you couls sprinkle some grated cheese on the
top and stick under the grill for a few minutes !!

I totally agree, Babz, that sounds absolutely delicious! Any other breakfast ideas? Instant oatmeal, cereal, and toast get kinda boring after a while and, admittedly, I'm not that creative! :-D

I started that oatcake thread and people offered some great suggestions for what to top oatcakes with! Melting cheddar on them is one i like. I've also made it like a.... (those of you with descriminating tastes, please forgive me!)... a McMuffin. LOL.

I've even tried clotted cream on them, though i've got to admit, it's just not right!
