I fervently hope someone has the recipe, the one I lost some time back had oatmeal flour sugar and lard....but I forgot how much....I added vanilla based icing to the top after I baked them and everybody loved them....but now they are a clamerin' for more and my recipe is gone...lost in one of my moves no doubt...so I pray someone has an old recipe ...mine came from my great grandmother, she brought it from Scotland. She lived in Edinburgh so maybe that divulgement will help narrow down the recipe lol! I don't know all I know is that I desperately need it.

What is the use of intelligence when one lacks compassion for the life around oneself? And what is the point of beauty, when one's heart isn't one's loveliest feature?

Well, I would love some - freshly made - but once they arrive here it's probably past best before Maybe I should try it myself ... if it doesn't work out I can at least use them as stones and throw them at bad people LOL. Then again, why bother? I can buy them in every shop.
