My sister lives in Australia, and I've visited her on a number of occasions. She has always said that it is almost impossible to get a good Indian meal in Aus - and I have to say, based on my experiences in various Oz cities - I think she's right......
![]() She visits the UK and the minute she arrives her cravings for Indian food become paramount - but the thing is: we can't get her to go to any of the excellent French, Italian, Greek, Thai (ours are nowhere near as good as the Thai food in Aus, IMHO) restaurants..... it's the local Indian every time! She adores my mince n tatties, soups (lentil and scotch broth are her faves), puddings etc.... but for a meal out.... a good Indian meal is her ideal. I still think it is funny that her dreams of home centre on getting a good curry and other Indian dishes! |

I LOVE LENTIL SOUP!! ..I cant get that here either

Korma is too mild for me - and my sister's preference is for curried dishes of all kinds that would blow your head off.... the hotter the better.
I think you mean Kulfi.... it's usually flavoured with cardamom and sometimes with pistachio. |
